Kelle Thompson has been a member of the Rotary Club of Winfield since 2001. Kelle has served the Winfield Club as President, Community Service Chair, and on the Board of Directors.
Kelle was born and raised in Winfield. After graduating from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree, she returned to Winfield with her husband Craig. She has worked at William Newton Hospital as a pharmacist for 15 years, serving as Director of Pharmacy since 1999. She is a member of the Kansas Pharmacist Association and the Kansas Council of Health-System Pharmacists (KCHP). She has served 2 terms on their board as district 5 director.
Craig and Kelle have 2 children, Hunter-9, and Mark-6. Kelle serves on the Cowley County Board of Health and has served on numerous church committees at the First United Methodist Church. She currently directs the Children’s Bells, plays in the bell choir and helps with teaching her son's Sunday school class.
Her hobbies include sewing, running, cake decorating, and having fun with her family.
