Susan joined the Ulysses Rotary Club in July of 2000. While at that club, she was bulletin editor and website editor for 7 years. A job change in 2007 brought Susan to the Johnson Rotary Club. She was asked to fill in the Presidency position for the 2008-2009 year when the President-Elect had to step down.
Susan has participated in many Civic/Leadership organizations throughout her life. From Girl Scouts as a young girl, Jaycees as a young adult to Leadership Grant County upon moving to Southwest Kansas. Susan has enjoyed the instant camaraderie she feels when she meets other Rotarians, as well as the International aspects of Rotary.
Traveling to the International Convention in San Antonio has been a high point in her Rotary career. She looks forward to the New Orleans convention, where she has family in the area.
Susan is a graduate of the University of Kansas. She is currently employed by The Johnson State Bank.
Susan has been married for 22 years to Steve who farms in Stanton and Morton counties. They have two very active teenaged sons. After chasing her boys to various athletic activities during the week, Susan enjoys running and racing dirt bikes with her family.
