Ray has been active in Rotary for 39 years in 2 clubs, Cimarron and Garden City. He has served as Treasurer, Vice President, President and Club Foundation Chairman. Ray has also served on the District Governor Nominating Committee, District Foundation Committee and was Annual Programs Fund Chairman. He is a multiple Paul Harris fellow, a sustaining member and a benefactor. His wife, Dena is also a multiple Paul Harris fellow and a benefactor.
Ray and Dena have been married for 21 years. Ray has a son Barry, also an active Rotarian, a daughter Tami. Dena has 3 sons, Allen, Dwayne and Jerry in Nebraska. Jerry is a new Rotarian. They have 8 grandchildren which they both enjoy spoiling.
Ray is currently the Manager of Bank Relations with American State Bank and Trust Co. He has worked as an Agricultural Lender for 33 years. Prior to that, he worked with Kansas State University Extension Service for 9 years. He received his BS in Animal Science from Oklahoma State University in 1967 and his MS in Meat Science from Kansas State University in 1971.

Just for fun, Ray enjoys photography, woodworking, shooting sporting clays and traveling, especially to RI conventions.
